COVID-19 SERVICE UPDATE
UPDATE - 13TH JANUARY 2021
Due to the increasing number of Coronavirus cases it is COMPULSORY to wear a face covering when entering any of our premises, so we can protect our staff and other customers.
We are doing everything we can to remain open to provide essential services to the construction industry and appreciate your co-operation.
We are happy to accept orders for collection or delivery by
telephone or email if you would prefer to avoid entering our shops.
Account customers can get a yard ticket for goods to avoid booking out at the counter if they prefer.
UPDATE - 5TH JANUARY 2021
As we enter lockdown again we wanted to let you know that both our branches will continue to be open as normal.
The construction industry, including the supply of construction materials, is being encouraged to continue and our suppliers plan to continue trading as normal too.
The safety of our staff and customers remains a priority, as well as trying to prevent the spread of the virus, so please continue to follow the safety guidelines we have in place.
Always wear a mask inside our premises and keep a 2 metre distance from others at all times.
We will continue reviewing our procedures on a weekly basis but hope we will not need to put any further restrictions in place.
FACE MASKS
It is compulsory for people in England to wear face masks or face coverings when in shops.
Members of staff will wear a face mask when working in the shop. All customers and visitors must also wear a face mask or face covering when visiting the shop or offices at both our branches.
We understand that some people will not be comfortable wearing a mask, or may not be able to wear one due to medical reasons. We are happy for you to call or email and pre-order goods for collection.

CHANGES TO OPENING TIMES
Both branches are now open:
Monday to Thursday, 7.30am - 5pm
Friday, 7.30am - 4pm
We remain closed on Saturdays for now
NEW SAFETY PROCEDURES ARE IN PLACE:
- If you're collecting goods from the yard and do not require anything from the shop, we will be able to give you a yard ticket to avoid you having to come to the counter if you prefer.
- Maximum of 4 customers in the shop at any one time
- Our counters have protective screening in place
- Staff and customers must keep 2m apart
- Hand sanitiser will be available in both our branches
- We are only accepting card payments at this time
- We are only offering a very limited timber cutting service. Lead times may apply.
